This course covers the theoretical aspects of the field of remote sensing and provides hands on experience using popular image processing software. The student will be exposed to visual interpretation and digital processing of satellite imageries and aerial photographs. Course content includes: Electro-magnetic radiation; Aerial remote sensing; Multispectral sensors; Digital image processing; and Hands on practical experience in ERDAS-PC based image analysis system
